Conway made an instant impact was an instant revelation for the Firebirds and claimed the NZC Domestic Player of the Year title for both the 2018-19 & 2019-20 seasons. He also won the Dream 11 Men’s Super Smash Player of the Year award in the 19-20 season.
The talented left-hander became the first man ever to top all three domestic run-scoring charts in the same season (19-20) in memorable summer that featured a remarkable 327* against Canterbury at the Basin Reserve.
His contract nod in 2020 is a recognition of his hard work and potential for the future of the BLACKCAPS team.

Off the back of strong performances for Canterbury and New Zealand A, he was selected to debut against Sri Lanka on Boxing Day at his home ground of Hagley Oval.
The stylish left-hander went onto to make his Test debut against Australia later that summer, as well featuring in the Australian Big Bash competition and the BLACKCAPS World T20 campaign in India.
Nicholls is considered one of the best fielders in the country and can also keep wickets.

The silky right hander quickly announced himself to the world with a century on Test debut against India in Ahmedabad in 2010.
Far from just a five day specialist, Williamson’s adapted his game masterfully to limited overs cricket and has been ranked inside the top 10 batsmen in the world in each format for much of the back half of his career.
2016 proved a big year as at 25 years of age he took over the captaincy of the New Zealand team in a full time capacity.
Since then he has expertly lead the team to the World Twenty20 semi finals in his first assignment in charge and later that year became the youngest player in history to post a Test century against every top tier nation.
He also led the BLACKCAPS all the way to the 2019 ICC World Cup Final where he received global admiration for his and his team’s sportsmanship in a losing effort.
A runs scoring machine who averages more than 50 in Tests and already has over twenty international centuries to his name, the possibilities are endless for Williamson’s future in the game.

Kyle Jamieson

Having travelled been flown across to Australia with the as cover for the Test team in December, Jamieson got his chance against India, first in the ODI series, before going on to play the two Tests against India.
The 25-year-old impressed in his white-ball outings, taking a 2-42 and adding crucial lower order runs in a Player of the March performance on debut at Eden Park.
He then took 4-39 on Test debut before backing up with his first ‘five-for’ (5-45) in the first innings of the second Test against India.
Jamieson plays his domestic cricket in his hometown with the Auckland Aces after a successful stint down south in the Canterbury set up.

Lockie Ferguson

Fergsuon burst onto the international scene late in 2016 making his debut against Australia at the SCG. After impressing with his pace and bounce, he has started to play ODI and T20 cricket for New Zealand including taking a wicket with his first ball in international T20 cricket against Bangladesh.
Ferguson had a strong white-ball campaign against India in the 2018-19 New Zealand summer, where his inswinging yorker accounted for some of the world’s best including opener Shikhar Dhawan. On the back of this form, he was selected for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup held in England and Wales.
Ferguson didn’t disappoint at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, taking 21 wickets at an average of 19.47. His best effort at the tournament was 4-37 against Afghanistan and he was second only to Mitchell Starc on the overall wicket charts.

The Canterbury fast bowler is consistently over 140 kmph and made a stellar start to his international career against India in 2014, taking the third-best figures for a New Zealand debutant in ODIs, claiming four wickets to seal New Zealand’s 4-0 series triumph.
Henry is fast becoming a feature of the BLACKCAPS white-ball teams and is often in and around the Test squad set-up. He offers pace, bounce and movement in all formats with the ball while is a handy lower-order batsman when required.
He will long be remembered for his new ball spell in the BLACKCAPS semi-final against India at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. Henry took 3-37 including the key wickets of both Indian openers, setting the course for a famous NZ victory!

He was part of the BLACKCAPS 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup campaign and hit the winning runs in a tight affair against Bangladesh at The Oval.
Santner scored his maiden Test century in the 2019-20 season at one of his home grounds – Bay Oval. He shared in a mammoth 261-run partnership with BJ Watling, the pair taking the BLACKCAPS from a precarious position to a dominant one. Santner then struck early with the ball in the English fourth innings to set the team in motion for a Test victory.

Blundell was a member of the 2010 New Zealand U19 World Cup Squad along with Tom Latham, James Neesham, and Doug Bracewell and made his First-Class and List A debuts for Wellington in 2013.
He made a real splash on the international scene with his Test debut against the West Indies at his home ground the Basin Reserve in 2017 scoring 107* in a winning performance.
Earlier, in the same year he had earned his call-up to the BLACKCAPS squad in the third T20 against Bangladesh in Mount Maunganui.
Blundell became the first New Zealander to score a century at the MCG with his 121 against Australia at the Boxing Day Test. The innings will be remembered as one of the great fighting knocks of recent times.

Young relinquished the captaincy of the Stags to focus on his batting, his volume of runs earning him a place in the BLACKCAPS starting XI against Bangladesh at Hagley Oval at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Unfortunately, Young and the BLACKCAPS didn’t take the field for the Test Match with the Christchurch Mosque shootings forcing the game to be cancelled.
Young has impressed on the international stage also, scoring back-to-back centuries for a New Zealand XI against a talent-laden Australia XI while he also scored a half-century against a strong India A side in the 2019-20 season.
